Laundry! The only thing that even comes close to being a little more annoying is when you have to Press/Iron (pick whatever word you use for it, or well if your one of the lazy ones whichever word your mom/wife/maid uses!!) those clothes!! Well the other thing is that people who have a washing machine at home might not really feel that way but I have to carry my dirty linen (don't start thinking now) all the way to a laundromat. Now laundromats are not really as glamorous as shown in movies or TV serials. No...your not going to find an attractive girl wanting to chat you up, the closest you'll get is some old person asking you for some change and then talking about how costly it is nowadays to wash clothes which goes on to about all the other things costing a hand and a leg. Now I can imagine the plight but then please people....get over it. I mean here I am cleaning away the dirt and suddenly I get to listen to the confessions too, all of a sudden I feel I have a lot of power and the laundromat has changed into something more divine. I am riding on my high when the machine beeps bringing an end to the wash and my power and its time to chuck the "clean "clothes into the drier to make feel clean and "fresh"!! All while the transistor....i mean the elderly... is still going on. The good thing about the drier is that it keeps you entertained with the clothes going round and round and back and forth. It is better than listening to how much the cost of a cup of washing detergent has increased in 20 years, it costs 20 cents, bring in your own if you are so tight about it.
The other thing while going to the laundromat is however prepared you are you will always fall short of coins. It is bound to happen and there is almost nothing that can prepare you for it. Luckily for me my one has the owner there who changes it then and there!!
For people out there who don't wash their clothes, no names listed to protect the irritant, its not all about taking a shower....its about cleaning your clothes too!!
